This wonderful partner, from one day to the next, started manifesting different body pains and symptoms so strange that no vet could give a proper diagnosis.
In an effort to help him, I began searching for alternative therapies used in humans and studied them to apply them to horses.
Without realizing it, I was finding my way into what is truly my destiny. I started studying Equine Behaviour, Animal Communication, Horsemanship, Natural Healing, and Shamanism.
I left behind things like Show Jumping and Eventing. That's not all, I even moved to what is now 'Pacagua', our haven, where we've lived alongside over 30 horses so far.

Carlín was, without a doubt, the perfect teacher who appeared at the right time to guide me on my way.

When we founded Pacagua, our idea was to breed and raise horses in a way that would demonstrate how, with proper treatment and respect towards their nature from a young age, we could achieve happier horses, unconditional friends for anyone who wanted to pick up horse riding.
Time slowly changed our focus; while observing the bonds between horses and humans, seeing everything a person could achieve and learn about themselves without the need to be on top of the horse, but instead surrounded by them and their healing energy.
We later learnt that Horse-based learning techniques were being developed abroad, and that with the right environment and with the right horses, they could do wonders for people, both individually and in groups.

This is how we developed our own model, creating as well the Horse Healing Techniques, Systemic Techniques, and Horse Constellations. We've brought our techniques all over Latin America and parts of Europe since 2010.
